The order of the displayed published article (Newsfeed) or issues (Newsstand) in the app is determined by the release date. Each newly created output is always displayed first on the large tile (top tile). By default, the release date is determined by the date which is loaded into the Purple DS Manager. When it is adjusted, the order can be edited accordingly. 

The order in the Purple DS Manager can be controlled with the arrows on the right side of the output overview. This only affects the order in the Newsstand if the respective issues all have the same initial publication date (IPD). Then the one above is displayed in front of the other issues with the same IPD in the app.
