General Information

For Purple DS apps you have the option for the iOS and Android platforms to display the app rating dialogues and give customers the opportunity to rate their app.

Instructions

Log into the Purple DS Manager and go to the App Design/General/Advanced Settings section of your app

The last item in this section is the "App Rating Dialog".

First you have to activate the function with the checkbox (01) and then you can do the additional settings (02-05).

Note: There are 2 triggers for displaying the evaluation dialog, which are related to each other - Days and sessions. According to Apple/Google, app reviews may only be displayed twice a year.

02. Show app rating dialog after a certain amount of days

With this option you define after how many days of the first installation the dialog is displayed for the first time.

03. Show app rating dialog again after a certain amount of days

With this option you determine after how many days of option (02) the dialog is displayed next time.

04. Show app rating dialog after a certain amount of sessions

With this option you define after how many App sessions after the first installation the dialog is displayed for the first time.

05. Show app rating dialog again after a certain amount of sessions

With this option you determine after how many app sessions after option (04) the dialog will be displayed next time.

Example:

First display

02. Show app rating dialog after a certain amount of days: 1 day

04. Show app rating dialog after a certain amount of sessions: 5 sessions

Second display

03. Show app rating dialog again after a certain amount of days: 50 days

05. Show app rating dialog again after a certain amount of sessions: 100 sessions

So the first time the app rating dialog is displayed either after one day of the first installation OR after the app has been opened 5 times.

The second time the rating dialog is now displayed after 50 days of the first display of the dialog OR after the app has been opened another 100 times.
