06. Final konfiguration of your iOS app in the Purple DS Manager :

Information

Once you have successfully completed steps 01. to 05. you can configure the iOS app in Purple DS Manager. You will need the profile and certificate files from the previous steps.

Requirements

Required certificates / profiles:

P12 Distribution certificate (incl. password)
Mobile Provisioning Profile
Push P12 certificate or GoogleService-Info.plist

Instructions

01. Upload of your certificates

First we provide the P12 Distribution Certificate and the Mobile Provisioning Profile in Purple DS Manager.

With a click on your app you get to the overview of your app. Please click on Build Settings.

In the "iOS" section, please upload the P12 distribution certificate (1), then enter the password of the certificate (2) and finally upload the Mobile Provisioning (3)

With a click on the Save button you have stored the build data and can now create apps for the App Store.

02. Activation of Apple Push Notifications with a Push P12 certificate

To activate in the Purple DS Manager please go to the Push / Analytics section

In the section Manager Push / iOS please activate the Manager Push and the Push registration at App Start.

Please upload the Push P12 certificate and enter the corresponding password.

03. Activation of Apple Push Notifications with an APN Auth Key

First you need a free Google Firebase account to create the GoogleServiceInfo.plist file that is required to link to your app. To learn how to set it up in Firebase, please read here

To activate in the Purple DS Manager please go to the Push / Analytics section

In the Firebase configuration section please activate all checkboxes and upload the GoogleService-Info.plist from Firebase.
