First, enter the e-mail address of the person that you wish to invite (1).

Then define the user roles that this person is intended to have. There are three different roles with varying rights to make changes in Purple DS Manager.

  1. Account Admin
In this role, a user has the most extensive rights. He can create new apps, invite additional members, and make changes to the rights of other team members. Furthermore, this role contains all the rights of the App Admin and Editor.
  2. App Admin
In this role, a user can manage any apps assigned to him, e.g. send push notifications or create new publications. You can specify whether the user may manage a selection of apps (“Yes (Selection)”) or is not an App Admin (“No”) or may manage all apps (“All Apps”).
  3. Editor
In this role, a user can manage any publications assigned to him, e.g. create new issues or publish issues in the live app. You can specify whether the user may manage a selection of publications (“Yes (Selection)”) or is not an Editor (“No”) or may manage all publications (“All Publications”).
  4. Apps or Publications can be allocated for the App Admin or Editor here (4.1) and assigned to the user (4.2).
  5. Clicking on “Invite” sends an e-mail with the invitation. If the person does not yet have a Purple DS account, registration may be started from the e-mail.
