You can assign events to all elements so that these elements respond to user actions and perform a certain action.
To assign an event to an element, please proceed as follows.

  1. On the stage, select the element for which one or several events are to be added (1).
  2. In the inspector widget properties (circle symbol) (2), you can add an event to the selected element using the plus sign icon on the right next to “Events” (3.1).
  3. Next, define the type of trigger for the event. A trigger is a user action with/on this element: a tap or click or swipe gesture (On Tap or Click / On Swipe Left / On Swipe Right / On Swipe Up / On Swipe Down). 

  1. One of the listed options can be selected for the following action:
    1. Jump to scene
      Links to a scene in the page (even to scenes within existing compositions). More information on 
    2. Jump to page
      Links to a page within the project.
    3. Jump to element
      Links to any object in the project. This can also be located on other pages/scenes.
    4. Open Web URL:

      Links to a website (HTML online in the in-app browser).  Furthermore, a “mailto:” link can be used (the following format is supported ““).

    5. Open File:

      You can open HTML-files, videos and pictures from the shared assets folder. You can find further information here.

    6. Open Action URL:

      You can execute several actions within the app. You can find further information here

    7. Toggle pop-up
      Opens a pop-up inside the same scene or composition.
    8. Close all Popups

      Close all Popups inside the same scene or composition

    9. Jump to previous scene
      Links to the previous scene.
    10. Jump to next scene
      Links to the next scene.

Tip: An element can contain several events, so that various actions can be triggered with different gestures on the same element, e.g. “swipe up” and “swipe down”.
